The Battle Begins

My son's journey began when he was 4 years old.  Alic would sleep all day.  He would sleep at school, in the car, everywhere.  His teachers at school said he had ADHD and I needed to get him evaluated.  After many doctor appointments it was clear he had narcolepsy.  It was nice to finally have an understanding of what was going on.  Through our journey I have found many kids diagnosed with ADHD actually have sleep disorders.  Don't we all get a little unfocused without sleep?  Currently, there is no cure for narcolepsy and the treatment is not ideal.  I wanted to share our journey to a cure in order to bring help and understanding to others.
